UNSOLVED HOMICIDES


Mary Eno Pinchot Meyer (October 14, 1920 – October 12, 1964)


A 44 year old American socialite, painter, former wife of Central Intelligence Agency official Cord Meyer was found Murdered on 10-12-1964..


Mary Meyer was a close friend of U.S. President John F. Kennedy..


It was also reported that Meyer was a mistress of United States President John F. Kennedy who was often noted for her desirable physique & social skills...


Meyer was shot to death by an unknown assailant after finishing a painting & going for a walk...


Mary Meyer was heard screaming for help by a mechanic on a nearby road who also heard two gunshots & saw an unidentified man standing over her body...


Minutes later a African-American man named Raymond Crump was arrested near the murder scene...


No gun was ever found & Crump was never linked to any gun of the type used to murder Mary Pinchot Meyer...


Crump was acquitted of all charges on 7-29-1965 & he murder remains unsolved..


Crump went on to what has been described as a "horrific" life of crime...


During the fall of 1964 the Murder of Mary Pinchot Meyer would later stir speculation relating to Kennedy's presidency & assassination & the CIA connection..

Betsy Ruth Aardsma (July 11, 1947 – November 28, 1969)


A 22-year-old American college student at Penn State University was found Murdered in the "Stacks" area of Pattee Library..


The 22 year old graduate student was stabbed to death in broad daylight in the stacks of Pattee Library on Penn State's campus on 11-28-1969...


Aardsma was in the library on doing research for a paper...


Between 4:45 PM and 4:55 PM, she was stabbed a single time through the left breast with a knife severing her artery & piercing her heart...


Police believe following the stabbing Aardsma slumped to the ground...


One or two minutes later one or two men exited the central region of the library..


Telling a desk clerk that "Somebody better help that girl" as they left...


The man or men who spoke to the desk clerk have never been identified...


First aid including mouth-to-mouth resucitation was given to Aardsma & a call was placed to the campus hospital at 5:01 PM..


By 5:19 PM an ambulance had transported Aardsma to the Health Center where she was pronounced dead a short time later...


The murder of Betsy Aardsma has remained unsolved for 45 years as of 5-14-2015 & the Pennsylvania State Police are still actively seeking information on the case..

Susan "Suzy" Poupart (November 12 1960 - May 20 1990)


A 29 year old was a woman who disappeared in 5-20-1990 & her body was discovered six months later..


Poupart was last seen on 5-20-1990 with two men after leaving a party in Lac Du Flambeau Wisconsin at 4:00 AM...


According to one witness, she was apparently being forced into a vehicle...


On 11-22-1990 six months after she went missing hunters discovered her remains in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest..


29 year old Susan "Suzy" Poupart's purse & identification were discovered underneath harvested trees...


Her partial remains were subsequently found...


Poupart had apparently been sexually assaulted...


Duct tape & plastic were also found indicating that her killer or killers had attempted to hide the corpse...


The two men Poupart was last seen with have been considered suspects...


Charges against one led to several hearings in 2007 but were dropped after witnesses failed to testify...


After testifying in court both men who she was last seen with denied abducting her....


Claiming that they were going to transport the woman home but instead dropped her off near a school..


Additionally, another pair of men are under suspicion...


The investigation continues...
