Jane Does Estimated Age : 35-50 years old

The nude body of a woman was discovered 42 feet down an embankment on old US 522 near Hancock Bridge..

This about 3/10 of a mile from the Maryland/West Virginia State Line..

In 2007 Jane Doe was was exhumed to collect DNA...

Jane Doe is buried in the Greenway Cemetery in Berkeley Springs...

Some agencies list June 1950 as the date of discovery..

But various news articles indicate that May is the correct date...

The Jane Doe had been dead for two days but she was dropped off only a few hours before being found...

There were fresh tracks and footprints near the body...

West Virginia State Police troopers were looking for a white male in his 40s in connection with the case...
