Vigil for Maitland on sixth anniversary of disappearance

A community comes together tonight, holding out hope for a teen who went missing six years ago today..

Brianna Maitland was 17 years old when she disappeared on this day in March of 2004...

Investigators examined the area around a Montgomery barn where her car was discovered the day after she disappeared...

She was last seen leaving her job at the Black Lantern Inn in Montgomery...

Police believe she is the victim of foul play and have not given up the search for the past six years...

Tonight a candlelight vigil will be held for Brianna Maitland at the abandoned house and barn where her car was discovered...

It's from 7 - 8 p.m. tonight on Route 118 in Montgomery...

On 3-19-10 from 7 pm to 8 pm a Candle-Lite Vigil was held for missing Brianna Maitland..

Location : Route 118 outside of Montgomery Vermont at what is known as the Crash-Site where Miss Maitland's car was found..

A poster of 15 photo's related to the case was set-up with 6 candles..

The 6 candles stating Miss Maitland has been missing for 6 years...

At 7 pm on 3-19-10 the 6 candles were lit by a 10 year old child attending the Vigil..

A Family member of Miss Maitland's attended the Vigil placing Flowers at the Crash-Site..

A very close Friend of the Maitland Family attended the Vigil placing Flowers at the Crash-Site & using her personalized candle for Miss Maitland..

At 8 pm on 3-19-10 the poster of photo's & flowers were left leaning against the abandoned house in the area like an open porch...

Mja had 3 NY staff members who attended the Candle-Lite Vigil..
