Vanished from Pompano Beach on 12-29-1969..

Peggy was last seen walking with her Friend toward the beach parking lot to buy ice cream cones...

A day later, a clerk at a nearby convenience store reported a man buying ice cream for two young girls on the previous afternoon...

The clerk identified photos of Peggy and Wendy, describing their companion as a white man in his 20s, six feet tall, around 200 pounds...

Serial-killer Gerald Schaefer was a suspect in the case...

He was never charged, though prosecutors publicly accused him of the crime in 1973...

Schaefer denied the slayings publicly, but later confessed in a letter dated April 19, 1989...

Dennis Lloyd Martin : 6 years old

Went Missing on 6-14-1969 from Spence Field Tennessee...

Martin was last seen between 14.00 &16.00 that day as he played a game of "Hide and Seek" in the park, near the Appalachian Trail...

He disappeared behind a bush in the area and has never been seen again...

He lived in Knoxville, Tennessee with his parents...

He was a special education student at the time of his disappearance...

Dennis Martain had some experience camping & hiking in the mountains with his family...

The search that ensued after his Saturday afternoon disappearance would last until mid-September of 1969 and involve thousands of searchers...

James Richard Howell : 9 years old

Went Missing on 5-28-1969 from Sterling Illinois...

Howell and his sister, Debra, were playing in the front yard of their home on West 13th Street in Sterling, Illinois on 5-28-1969..

Jim was going to build a cage for his birds..

Deb went into the house to get some nails and a hammer..

When she returned about a minute later..

The boards Jim had with him to build the cage were scattered along the street in front of the residence and Jim was gone...

Newspaper reports from days, months and a year after Howell's disappearance reveal several supposed sightings of the boy...

An ensuing search included a 400-person air & ground search party that worked its way through the area west of town..

Where Howell reportedly last was seen by his stepfather..

A search of Elkhorn Creek &the Rock River & divers searched gravel pits & water areas, with no results...

Judith Ann Elwell : 5 years old

Went Missing on 7-6-1967 from Oklahoma City Oklahoma..

On 7-6-1967 Judith Elwell vanished from her northwest Oklahoma City home on N. Meta...

Judith's brother says that night he saw a big black car & heard his sister crying...

He ran to get his father but when they returned the car was gone...

One of Judith's blue canvas tennis shoes was found the next day near the Elwell home..

Leading police to theorize she lost the shoe while struggling with her kidnapper &as hort braided rope was lying under her shoe....

In the days after her disappearance organized searches were done but no other trace of Judith was found...

At some point over the past four decades the police case file was misplaced or destroyed...

On August 3,1967, 6 year old Brenda Lois White disappeareda month after Elwell's disappearance...

White’s remains were found three months later near an abandoned farm house in Harrah...

Her dress was found near the shallow grave...

Police suspect the two abductions were by the same person...

There has been no arrests...

Diane Prevost : 2 years old

Missing Since 1966 - Grundy Lake Provincial Park Ontario Canada..

TO THIS DAY THE FAMILY HAS NOT GIVEN UP HOPE THAT ONE DAY THEIR DAUGHTER WILL COME HOME

It was Saturday, September 17, 1966 at a Grundy Provincial Park camp site, where a family with four children and their grand-parents were camping...

The Adults fished & the kids were catching frogs..

Diane was playing in the sand & wanted to return to the campsite...

When Diane's turned around a few minutes later & Diane was no longer playing in the sand...

Thinking that she had returned to the trailer, which was parked 500 ft away, Claire her mother ran back to the trailer...

Claire returned in a panic because Diane was not at the campsite....

They looked for about one hour thinking that Diane just wandered off...

They then decided to call the Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P.) when they couldn´t find her because dark was sitting in..

James Dwyer Bordenkircher : 2 years old

Went Missing on 6-12-1965 from North Lake Tahoe California...

Jamie Bordenkircher was last seen at his family's Beaver Street cabin, high above Lake Tahoe on 6-12-1965..

He was on the swing in the front yard...

Jamie's brother ducked inside the cabin for just a moment...

When he came back outside, the swing was empty...

Jamie Bordenkircher had vanished...

Searchers found no trace of the missing toddler...

He was never seen again..

No trace of Kathy has ever been found despite extensive efforts on the part of both Local and State Law enforcement...

Numerous possible leads were pursued with negative results...

Both young boys were at the Frisch's Mainliner Restaurant located at 5770 Wooster Pike, Cincinnati on their way to John's house...

The boys never came home and were reported missing at 20:30...

Johnny Hundley & James A. McQueary were best friends and it would be uncommon to find either boy without the other...

The boys never came home...

Ann Marie's mother woke up at 5:00AM & found Ann Marie Missing....

A small living-room window was cracked a few inches the evening before & now it was wide open..

Ann's sister or 2 brothers heard anything unusual & there was no struggle in the bedroom...

The dog had barked that evening but the Parents thought the dog was just scared of the storm..

Ann Marie Burr hasnt been heard from or seen again..
